Second turnover of the night does no favors for Centennial. Michael Jensen picked Matt Scott’s option pitch out of the air. Another hold for DLS’ defense gives the Spartans possession at the Centennial 48.

Scott just walked off the field looking like he was beat. He better not be.

William Sutton, who was hurt earlier in the game, just sacked DLS’ Blake Wayne. Might be the kind of defensive play to spark the team.

Or maybe not. The screen to Tito Pica looked like it was going nowhere, but he escaped two tacklers for a loss and turned it into 25-yard gain.

A piece of advice for Centennial: Can’t afford missed tackles if you’re hoping to win at this level.

On fourth and 12, Wayne just passed 25 yards to Michael Dosen for another DLS score. Spartans now lead, 24-7.

Maybe this is what everyone was talking about when they said DLS was coming into this game loaded for bear, unlike last year (which is the subject of another post in a few minutes).

Two turnovers = 14 points for De La Salle.
