Crespi football Coach Jeremiah Ross said Tuesday he has pulled out as a candidate for the coaching position at Clovis West. Ross was considered a leading candidate for the position but said he had not been offered the job. He lived in the Fresno area while attending school and coaching at Fresno State.

‘This is where my heart is,’ said the 31-year-old third-year Crespi coach. ‘I couldn’t leave it.’ Ross guided Crespi to the Pac-5 Division championship game this past season.
