Football: Hart is facing tough times

For 19 consecutive years under Hart Coach Mike Herrington, the Indians have made the Southern Section playoffs. But this season, they are 2-4 overall and 0-1 in the Foothill League entering Friday’s game against Canyon Country Canyon at College of the Canyons.

The last time Hart didn’t make the playoffs was 1980.

Hart needs to turn in an improved defensive performance to play with the Cowboys.

‘This is a key game for us,’ Herrington said.
