The competition for City Section pole vault champion is a one-man deal. Kyle Ballew of Woodland Hills El Camino Real showed how dominant he is on Saturday at a San Fernando Valley meet, clearing 16-1.

There’s no one around who’s going to challenge Ballew at next month’s City finals.
