UCLA wanted Richard Brehaut. Stanford wanted Josh Nunes.

Which school wants the high school quarterback whose team defeated both Pac-10-bound counterparts in 2008? Here’s a hint: quack, quack.

The Oregon Ducks have offered Rancho Cucamonga’s Greg Watson a scholarship--at defensive back, where Watson could once again make things difficult for Brehaut and Nunes in the Pac-10 starting with the 2010 season.

‘It is kind of weird that I was offered as a defensive back because I haven’t played the position in high school,’ the 5-foor-11, 190-pound Watson told Rivals.com. ‘Oregon likes the way I run. I would love to play defensive back because I love to hit.’

Another Southern California quarterback recently collected his first scholarship offer when Crespi’s Bryan Bennett was offered by Pittsburgh, according to Rivals.com. Bennett has also received interest from Boise State, Washington State, Tennessee, Notre Dame and California. He told Rivals.com that he’s waiting to see if he gets other offers and doesn’t know when he’ll make a decision on his college choice.
