Baseball: Capistrano Valley advances

Nolan Clark had a heck of a seventh inning.

He drew a two-out walk with the bases loaded to break a scoreless tie and then struck out the side in the bottom of the seventh in relief of Tyler Matzek to help Capistrano Valley preserve a 4-0 victory over Orange Lutheran tonight at Hart Park in Orange in a Division I second-round game.

The third-seeded Cougars (22-6) advanced to play Marina on Friday in a quarterfinal at Capistrano Valley.
