Los Angeles Maywood earned a spot in Friday’s City Section Division III baseball final by upsetting top-seeded Community Harvest, 7-2. Maywood will play Sherman Oaks CES in Friday’s 4 p.m. final at USC.
Eric Escamilla, who threw a five-inning no-hitter in the playoff opener, threw a complete game Tuesday, allowing six hits while striking out nine and walking one. He also had two RBIs.
