Boys’ basketball: Miller, Essa to be reunited at North Hollywood

When Steve Miller was the boys’ basketball coach at North Hollywood, he and his top assistant, Eli Essa, guided the Huskies to eight consecutive league titles. Now the two are rejoining the Huskies as assistant coaches to new Coach Kenny Harris.

Essa has been the head coach at Burbank Bell-Jeff. Miller continues to coach boys’ and girls’ golf at North Hollywood. Essa is going to take on a bigger role this time.

Harris used to play for Miller, who coached the basketball team in the 1980s and early 1990s.
