L.A. Jordan’s first-round City Section home playoff game against defending co-champion Narbonne has been moved to 2 p.m., 15 minutes earlier than originally scheduled, Bulldogs Coach Elijah Asante said.

That’s probably a good idea since there are no lights at Jordan and it’s almost completely dark by 5 p.m.

‘This is going to be very exciting for the Watts community,’ Asante said of the matchup against the Gauchos. ‘This community really gets behind the football team and identifies with it.’

A victory would be Jordan’s first at home in the upper-division playoffs. Although Jordan is seeded No. 6 and Narbonne No. 11, Calpreps.com is projecting a 35-17 victory for the Gauchos.
