Girls’ basketball: Corona Santiago’s Jasmine Lister is state athlete of the week

Corona Santiago senior point guard Jasmine Lister is the state girls athlete of the week, according to CalHiSports and ESPN Rise.

Lister averages 19.3 points a game for Corona Santiago (23-2, 12-0), ranked No. 5 in the Southland by The Times, and has amassed more than 2,000 points in her high school career.

She has a 4.5 GPA and will be attending Vanderbilt in the fall.
