Baseball: Schedule finalized for National Classic

The schedule has been finalized for the National Classic that begins on April 5 in Orange County. Encino Crespi will open against Marin Catholic at 4 p.m. at Esperanza. Marin Catholic has decided to use wood bats after one its players was struck in the head by a ball from an aluminum bat. Crespi has agreed to use wood bats in the game.
Perhaps the best opening matchup has Valencia West Ranch playing Orange Lutheran at 1 p.m. at El Dorado.
The championship game is set for April 8 at 7 p.m. at Cal State Fullerton.
