Baseball: Maywood advances to City Section Division III final

Maywood defeated Community Harvest, 8-7, in 12 innings to earn a spot in next Wednesday’s City Section Division III championship game at USC.

Edgar Navar held Community Harvest scoreless over the last seven innings in relief to pick up the victory. Felix Carrillo drove in the winning run with a one-out single in the bottom of the 12th.
