Football: Redlands East Valley leads Mission Viejo, 10-0

Redlands East Valley’s Tanner Shreve recovered a punt in the end zone after the ball was touched by a Mission Viejo player to give the Wildcats a 10-0 lead over Mission Viejo with 2:46 remaining in the first half.

The punt was touched by a Mission Viejo player before the ball bounced wildly about 20 yards into the end zone. Shreve managed to jump on the ball just inside the goal line.

Mission Viejo needs to get something going offensively if they want to stay in the game.
