Football: Redlands East Valley leads Mission Viejo, 10-0, heading into fourth quarter

Redlands East Valley continues to lead Mission Viejo, but the Diablos are driving with the fourth quarter about to begin.

Alex Brigford has connected on several passes -- mostly to receiver Max Redfield -- to put Mission Viejo on the Redlands East Valley 34. However, the Wildcats secondary has done a very good job stopping the Bridgford connecting on a couple of long pass attempts.

Mission Viejo’s Brett Tenhoff, who’s the Diablos’ backup quarterback, has done a decent job running the ball for the Diablos in the second half. Unfortunately, penalties have also slowed the Diablos’ progress.

The clock is ticking -- Mission Viejo needs to find the end zone quick.
