It’s 20 minutes from kickoff and there are practically as many green and white clad Narbonne fans in the visiting bleachers as there are red, white and blue shirts in support of host Serra. Both squads have taken the field for the pre-game warmups and the atmosphere is electric.

One factor will be Serra’s ability to pressure Narbonne quarterback Troy Williams, who has completed 39 of his 57 passes for 530 yards and four touchdowns. A 6-3, 190-pound senior who has verbally committed to Washington, Williams has also rushed 18 times for 114 yards and five scores in three lopsided victories.

Narbonne’s defense has yet to allow a single touchdown, so Serra’s own prolific offense will also be challenged.

Cavaliers quarterback Jalen Greene doesn’t have former Serra stars and current USC wideouts Marqise Lee and Robert Woods to throw to, but Darrell Furey (10 catches for 234 yards and four TDs) and Anterio Bateman (19 catches for 193 yards and two TDs) are certainly no slouches. They will need big performances to keep Serra close.
