Arthur D. Little Inc. opened a new West Coast unit.

The Cambridge, Mass-based consulting firm opened Western Technology Center in Santa Clara to serve the product development, technology assessment and manufacturing engineering needs of Silicon Valley firms. David Hurley, vice president and manager of the firm’s regional operations, also reported the acquisition of Caliber Electronics Co., Santa Clara-based engineering consulting company.
