Sickle Cell Research Foundation Gets Grant
The Permanent Charities Committee of the Entertainment Industries has presented the Sickle Cell Disease Research Foundation with $5,000 in cash to support its services to sickle-cell anemia clients in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, San Diego and Ventura counties.
The foundation provides testing, referrals, counseling and research and supportive services for sickle-cell patients.
