Richard Korchien has been elected chairman of the board of directors of Environetics International, Los Angeles, succeeding Lawrence Lerner, a co-founder of the firm.

John F. Tavaglione, a fourth generation Riverside reident, has been named assistant vice president of Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services. He was manager of the firm’s Riverside office; Frecia C. Ransom, sales manager in the Wilshire office, has been named an assistant vice president; Mark J. Mattingly has been appointed sales manager for the Santa Ana office.

Larry I. Smith has been appointed director of marketing of Markborough California Inc., Newport Beach, and will be responsible for implementing the marketing concept of Sunnymead Ranch in Moreno Valley.
