General Manager Jerry West of the Lakers will be honored tonight at a dinner sponsored by the Lakers, the Clippers and local colleges at the Trident Room, 11355 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles.
Tickets cost $100 each. Proceeds will go to the Southern California Open Basketball League at Inglewood High School. Laker broadcaster Chick Hearn will be the master of ceremonies.
