Countywide : Voters Can Register Until Midnight Tonight
Special voter registration booths will be manned in Orange County until midnight tonight so that residents can beat tonight’s deadline to sign up for the Nov. 5 elections.
To be eligible to vote, according to a spokesman for the registrar of voters, residents must be U.S. citizens aged 18 years or older on election day, and may not be on parole or imprisoned on a felony conviction. For more information, call the office at (714) 834-2244.
The registrar’s office, located at 1300 S. Grand Ave., Santa Ana, will be open today from 8 a.m. to midnight.
The following locations will handle registration from 6 p.m. until midnight: Buena Park Police Department, 6650 Beach Blvd.; Huntington Beach Police Department, 2000 Main St.; Placentia Police Department, 401 E. Chapman Ave., and Orange County Fire Station No. 22, 24001 Paseo de Valencia, Laguna Hills.
