From Reuters
BEIRUT —
The Greek military attache in Lebanon escaped an apparent kidnap attempt Thursday in Muslim West Beirut by speeding away from a pursuing vehicle, embassy officials said.

“I am blond and look like a foreigner,” Papaioannou said later.
