Kramer, formerly of Burroughs High and Pierce College, set five school passing records in leading the Wolfpack to an 8-2-1 record. He passed for for 2,092 yards and 14 touchdowns during the regular season. In his two years at North Carolina State, Kramer set 11 school passing records.

Ricky Rosales, a two-time All-Southern California Conference selection at offensive tackle out of Alemany High, will be going to Utah State, Ferrero said. Rosales, a 6-3, 285-pound sophomore who was all-conference last season at Pierce, was also considering Illinois and Texas El Paso.

Ferrero said Utah State’s graphic arts program convinced Rosales, an academic All-American this season. “They hit his hot button, which was the academics,” Ferrero said.

Danny Duffy, a two-time all-conference selection at defensive end, signed with Idaho. Duffy (6-2, 238) went to San Fernando High.

Also signing was Arthur White, an all-conference safety in 1985. White will be going to Idaho State.

White (6-0, 227) was unable to sign with a Division I school until he completed his associate’s degree, which he did at the end of the fall semester. The former Reseda High player fell one unit short of graduation at the end of the summer semester, but will still have two years of eligibility remaining at Idaho State.

“He worked his butt off,” Ferrero said. “He could have gone to a Division II school, but he’s a Division I player.”
