Mannion was 4 for 4 with two doubles.

Fullerton added single runs in the sixth and seventh innings and led, 7-0, before Stanford (4-2) scored twice in the eighth and twice in the ninth. The two runs in the ninth came on a home run by Cardinal freshman Troy Paulsen, who was the Times’ Player of the Year last season at La Quinta.

The game was first scheduled for 1 p.m. but high winds caused it to be rescheduled for Saturday night.

The teams conclude a three-game series at 1 today. Senior left-hander Larry Casian will start for the Titans.
