PGA Breaks the Rules of Common Sense

I submit that the disqualification of Craig Stadler in the San Diego Open last weekend was totally wrong and totally insane. Under the same logic, any player who wipes rain off his club grip (and then hits a shot with that club) has to be disqualified because he improved the chance of making that shot.

Stadler doesn’t need the $37,333, but he sure as hell is entitled to it!
