Batting: JoJo Carmona of Burroughs is 11 for 27 but has not scored a run, having been left on base 13 times. In 10 games, Burroughs has stranded 93 runners while opponents have left 59. . . . Hart has nine players batting above .300 and is hitting .379 as a team. . . . Since he became Canyon’s designated hitter three games ago, Eric Martinez is 6 for 12 with 5 RBIs. Track and field: Notre Dame junior Tommy Parker has pole vaulted 15-0 or better in six different meets. No other Valley vaulter has cleared 15 feet.
