Orange County Prep Baseball : Holdridge Leads Ocean View, 7-5

Dan Naulty pitched a complete-game five-hitter and David Holdridge hit his sixth home run of the season as Ocean View High School defeated El Segundo, 7-5, Friday at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo’s Sinsheimer Park, winning the San Luis Obispo Tournament.

Eric Christopherson, who was named the tournament’s most valuable player, was 2 for 3 with two doubles and two runs batted in. Ocean View is 12-4.

In the Sundevil Spring Tournament:

Servite 3, Valley (Las Vegas) 0--James Ferguson (6-0) threw a two-hitter at Las Vegas, leading Servite to the upset of Valley, ranked 16th in the nation by USA Today.

Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) 11, Servite 7--Bishop Gorman had 12 hits against Servite (14-3). Servite’s Chris Ulmer hit a two-run home run.
