BANGUI, Central African Republic —
The trial of ousted Central African dictator Jean-Bedel Bokassa resumed Monday after a weeklong suspension.
The proceedings, which have dragged on since November, were suspended when one of the court’s legal counsels fell ill.
The 65-year-old former dictator is accused of crimes ranging from murder to cannibalism and embezzlement of state funds.
