R.H. Estates : Added Dining Area Sought

Share

The Rolling Hills Country Club has presented expansion plans to the City Council in a bid to double the size of facilities of the exclusive golf and country club. Site plans call for an additional 13,000 square feet of dining space, to include a banquet room open for public use and a small grill area for club members.

The project architect said the plans would expand the club’s dining capacity by nearly 200 people, bringing its total to 423. This, he said, would allow the club to hold large receptions, which it cannot accommodate now. The club is on 99 acres off Palos Verdes Drive East.

Requesting additional information on the area’s drainage system, the council postponed a decision until its first meeting in June.
