Melody Forms State Mortgage Affiliate

L. J. Melody and Co., Houston, has formed an affiliated mortgage banking firm, L. J. Melody and Co. of California.

The Irvine-based unit is headed by James B. Grant, president, and Gary L. Hausdorfer, executive vice president.
