Not only does she look like the Iran- contra witness--Elyse Hall even shares a last name with Fawn Hall, whom she will be “playing” opposite Bob Hope. Hope’s Sept. 17 special on NBC will spoof the hearings, and Hall was chosen to stand in for the more celebrated Hall. The 22-year-old Elyse Hall lives in Van Nuys and quit her job at a chiropractor’s office three weeks ago. She beat out 19 other auditioners for the role. Fawn Hall, in case you forgot, was Lt. Col. Oliver L. North’s secretary who admitted that she helped North shred documents that related to key events of the scandal. The real Fawn Hall will also be chatting with Barbara Walters for ABC on Sept. 15.
