Harelik Leads Palisades Girls to 4-A Volleyball Title

Anya Harelik had a match-high 12 kills to lead Palisades High School over Carson, 15-5, 15-8, 16-14, in the City 4-A volleyball championships at UCLA Saturday night.

Colleen Wellman added eight kills for Palisades (14-0), which has won the title 12 of the past 13 seasons. Carson (14-1) was led by Lesa Tefelala, who had a team-high 10 kills and four blocks.

In the 3-A division, Bell defeated Eagle Rock, 15-5, 15-5, 15-5. Bell (14-4), which won its first 3-A title, was led by middle blocker Melissa Lynch. The 5-8 senior had a team-high 12 kills and 12 digs. Senior Myla Talag had five kills for Eagle Rock (13-4).
