Jan Shomaker Takes Reins of Realty Board
Jan Shomaker, a Huntington Beach real estate broker who has served as a director of the California Assn. of Realtors since 1985 and as chairman of the Multiple Listing Service, has been installed as president of the 2,000-member Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley Board of Realtors.
Joining Shomaker on the 1988 board of directors are Lila Nowell, Executive Homes, immediate past president; Phyllis Rhyan, Newland Properties, first vice president; Tom Van Tuyl, Pier Realty, second vice president and Multiple Listing Service chairman; Ralph Carruthers, ERA Star Real Estate Center, secretary/treasurer, and James Righeimer, ERA Rafferty & Lloyd, past secretary/treasurer.
Also, Mary Lu Hughes, Century 21 Beachside; James E. Morrisey, New Dimension Properties, and Art Lubow, Medallion Realty.
