Clipper Executive, Former Ballboy in Arena Altercation
Andy Roeser, the Clippers’ executive vice president/business operations, sustained several broken ribs during an altercation with Todd Eskew, a former Clipper ballboy, at the team’s pregame shoot-around Monday morning at the Sports Arena.
The altercation apparently began when Eskew, who has been banned from games and practice by team officials, showed up at the shootaround. Roeser asked Eskew to leave, and a scuffle ensued.
Roeser said he was treated and released at Daniel Freeman Marina Hospital. He did not attend Monday night’s Clippers-Detroit Pistons game.
No charges have been filed.
