Bob Thomason, 30, has resigned as basketball coach at Cal State Stanislaus to become coach at University of the Pacific. He succeeds Tom O’Neill, who resigned Jan. 26.

The age and the record of Bob Thomason, who resigned as basketball coach at Cal State Stanislaus Tuesday to become coach at University of the Pacific, were incorrectly reported in Wednesday’s editions. He is 39 and had a 52-27 record in three years at Stanislaus.
