Local News in Brief : Costa Mesa : Information Offered on Eating Disorders
A reception to mark national Eating Disorders Week and let people know about treatment programs available in the county will be held today in Costa Mesa.
Host for the reception, from 7 to 9 p.m. in Room 510 of the Rea Community Center, 661 Hamilton St., is Research & Recovery Unlimited, a program in Westminster specializing in treating eating disorders, and the Anorexia Nervosa & Associated Disorders organization.
During the gathering, people will be able to talk informally with eating-disorder professionals to learn more about anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and overeating.
There also will be a featuring professionals and people who are recovering from eating disorders who will talk about the recovery process.
