In 1986, famed photographer Bruce Weber became fascinated with Andy Minsker, an unknown professional boxer, and the interest led to “Broken Noses,” a documentary (Weber’s first) about a group of aspiring children boxers in Portland, Ore. The film, which made its world debut at the Cannes Film Festival in France last year, makes its San Diego debut at the Ken Cinema, where it will show today and Wednesday only, at 5:45, 7:30 and 9:10 p.m.
