Escapee Back in Jail: Craig E. Clifford, 30, of San Diego, who escaped from the county’s minimum-security jail near El Toro on Monday night, has been arrested in San Diego. He was found about 6 p.m. Tuesday and returned to the Orange County Jail, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Richard J. Olson said. The prisoner is charged with felony escape, Olson said. Clifford had been jailed for failure to appear on charges of driving with a suspended license and without proper lights on his license plate.
