A Lake View Terrace man who surrendered to police after Sunday’s slaying of a Domino’s pizza store manager and wounding of a worker pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges of murder, attempted murder and armed robbery.

The attorney for Reginald Leon Morris, 20, said his client insisted he was not involved in the robbery-slaying but happened to be with an acquaintance who committed the crimes.

Morris, accompanied by his parents, grandmother and minister, had turned himself in Monday to authorities investigating the fatal shooting of Sean Patrick Linn, 23, of Granada Hills, and critical wounding of Freddie Zuniga, 24, of San Fernando, police said.

A 15-year-old Lake View Terrace boy is also charged with murder, attempted murder and armed robbery in connection with the shootings at the store in the 11900 block of Foothill Boulevard. The youth, who will be arraigned in Sylmar Juvenile Court on Friday, had been a cook at the pizza shop, said Deputy Dist. Atty. Marguerite McKinney.

Kenneth P. Lezin, attorney for Morris, said Morris told him he had witnessed the shootings from outside the Domino’s after taking a ride from the youth, who stopped at the pizza parlor.

Morris, who is being held in jail without bail, was arraigned before Court Commissioner Rebecca Omens-Rockman in San Fernando Municipal Court.
