A Los Angeles Superior Court judge threw a wrench into Columbia Pictures’ plans to open its film “The Adventures of Baron Munchausen” in West Germany on Dec. 8. The judge granted a preliminary injunction to producer Allan A. Buckhantz preventing Columbia from showing the film without a disclaimer stating that it is not a remake of the 1943 German film classic “The Adventures of Muenchhausen.” Buckhantz owns the rights to the German film.
