PerfectData Reduces Loss in 2nd Quarter to $7,000

PerfectData said its loss narrowed to $7,000 in the second quarter that ended Sept. 30, compared to a $43,000 loss a year earlier. Sales fell 12% in the period, to $877,000.

The Chatsworth company, which sells computer care equipment, said it cut costs substantially, in part because it moved to a new building.

For the 6 months, PerfectData’s loss narrowed to $49,000 from $193,000 as sales fell 17% to $1.6 million.
