Prep Roundup : Walker Scores 42 in Brea’s Victory
Keith Walker scored 42 points to lead Brea-Olinda High School to an 81-70 victory over El Dorado in a nonleague boys’ basketball game Wednesday at El Dorado.
Walker, a 6-foot 5-inch junior, hit 16 of 26 shots and had 11 rebounds. His 42 points tied him with Dan Hanson for second-most points in a game by a Wildcat. Walker’s brother Kevin, now at UCLA, holds the school record--46 points in 1985.
Matt Chamberlain had 14 points for Brea (6-4).
