Cerritos Nazarenes Will Break Ground for Church

The congregation of the Nazarene Church of Cerritos will hold a ground-breaking ceremony Sunday at 2:30 p.m., Del Amo and Norwalk boulevards. The 450-member congregation is building a 37,000-square-foot complex that also will include a preschool and a gym, said the pastor, Rev. Paul Simpson. The old church, known as the Bellflower Church of the Nazarene, was located on Clark Avenue in Bellflower.
