Cypress 80, Fullerton 54--Andre Lamoureux scored 19 points and had 13 rebounds to lead host Cypress (23-3, 9-0) to its 10th consecutive victory. Vince Hizon had 12 and Eric Pauley 10 for Cypress. Rashone Lewis scored a game-high 30 points for Fullerton (10-16, 1-7).
Golden West 87, Riverside 84--Ric Van Scoyce scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half and made two free throws with two seconds left to seal the victory for third-place Golden West (19-9, 6-3). Riverside drops to 15-13, 4-5.
In nonconference baseball:
Rancho Santiago 13, Long Beach 4--Greg Martineau had two doubles and an RBI to lead host Rancho Santiago (1-0). Ed Renteria went three-for-three with three RBIs and Marty Neff went two-for-two with a RBI for Rancho Santiago.
Winning pitcher Matt Lackie gave up no runs, no walks and struck out six in five innings.
Golden West 19, East Los Angeles 6--Josh Bammer went four-for-five with five RBIs, Robb Carabba was three-for-six with six RBIs and hit a three-run home run in the seventh.
Mike Willey went three-for-five with three RBIs, Gary Christopherson was three-for-four with two runs scored for host Golden West (1-0).
Oxnard 14, Saddleback 7--Oxnard (1-1) scored 12 runs in the first three innings to put the game away early. Buster Nietzke went two-for-five with a triple and two runs scored and Brent Ferguson had two hits for Saddleback (1-1).
In the San Diego Mesa baseball tournament:
Fullerton 10, San Diego Mesa 3--Jimmy Vlcek went three-for-four, Gary Mota had three RBIs and Tom Wilson had a home run and two RBIs for Fullerton (2-0) in a second-round game.
San Diego Mesa (1-1) led, 2-1, through three innings, but Fullerton rallied for four runs in the fourth and never trailed again.
