Gallo Brother Files Appeal: The younger brother of Ernest and Julio Gallo, owners of the world’s largest winery, filed a federal appeal renewing his claim to a one-third interest in the $1-billion-a-year business, and arguing to use the family name on his cheese products. Livingston, Calif., rancher Joseph Gallo said in his filing that the First Amendment entitles him to use the Gallo name on his cheese and that his older brothers used his inheritance to launch the Gallo wine empire.
