Robertson, Moreno to Fight in Irvine

Welterweights Hedgemon Robertson and Javier Moreno will fight tonight in the main event of the monthly boxing program at the Irvine Marriott.

Robertson, of Los Angeles, has a 21-7 record. Moreno, also of Los Angeles, is 12-7. Moreno is the replacement for Ernie Chavez of Santa Ana, who injured his arm in training last week.

In another bout, John Armijo, a lifeguard from Huntington Beach, will fight Lloyd Weaver (7-1) of Los Angeles. Armijo (8-0) took three months off because of a hand injury.

Tickets for the card of six bouts scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the hotel.
