Brandy Johnson, dethroned as all-around champion by 14-year-old Kim Zmeskal Saturday night, won the vault and floor exercise in the individual event finals at the U.S. Gymnastics Championships.

Johnson was the day’s only undisputed multiple winner; 4-foot-5, 72-pound Zmeskal was runner-up in three of the four women’s individual events.

Among the men, Lance Ringnald won the vault and Trent Dimas the parallel bars, and they tied for the gold medal in the day’s final event, the horizontal bar. Bob Stelter of Burbank won the floor exercise.
