Heschong said the motorcycle had been reported stolen earlier by its owner in Sylmar. The sergeant said the teen-agers were riding it up and down Columbus Avenue on the block where it dead-ends against the Simi Valley Freeway. The pair stopped occasionally to drink beer with acquaintances who were watching, police said.
