The San Diego district attorney’s office filed assault-and-battery charges against three men who allegedly attacked and severely beat Charger nose tackle Joe Phillips.
The men--identified as David Hanna, 22; Scott Stewart, 24, and Brett Dost, 21--will be allowed to remain free without bail pending their arraignment in Municipal Court, which hasn’t been scheduled.
