State parks in Ventura County are offering frequent-user passes to walk-in visitors and bicyclists.

Passes good through the end of the year will cost $5 for adults and $2.50 for children 6 to 17. In December, visitors will be able to purchase 1991 passes at $30 for adults and $15 for children. The passes cannot be used for vehicle entry into the parks.

Additional fees may be charged for tours, use of pools and entry into museums, visitor centers and state historic parks, according to the state Department of Parks and Recreation.
