RENO —
An anti-abortion crusader has been convicted of battery on a local radio talk-show host.
A Reno judge on Friday found Pro-Life Andy Anderson guilty of bursting into a broadcast booth and hitting KHIT/AM host Eddie Anderson.
Municipal Judge Lew Carnahan sentenced Andy Anderson, who legally changed his first name to “Pro-Life” several years ago, to 96 hours of community service.
Andy Anderson said he was provoked by what he called the talk-show host’s “blasphemous” commentary on Jesus Christ.
